West Tune Ethonal Evaporation Falling Film Evaporator

West Tune Falling film evaporators are industrial machines that use evaporation and condensation under vacuum conditions in order to reclaim and save the used solvent. For example, it can recovery 97.5% ethanol. (1 set FFE-200L ≈10 sets 50L rotary evaporator).

Manufacturing Technique
In falling film evaporator, the liquid solvent usually enters at the head of the evaporator, then falls into a series of vertical heating tubes, forming a thin, evenly-distributed film within the vertical heating tubes means that it will quickly be vaporized by the heating components.

Within the tubes, this vaporization is partial, so the liquid product and solvent vapors both flow down the evaporator in a parallel flow. At the bottom of the evaporator there is an outward valve that can extract the concentrated product and then the rest of the vapor/liquid solvent solution is pumped to the separator.
